Huge thank you to East Coast Clippers for volunteering to groom Finnighan and making him so much more comfortable.
Temperament Test: Orange
Finnighan will only be adopted to an experienced home with livestock guardian breeds. These dogs often do not do well in the city and will not be a good match for every family. Finnighan needs time to become comfortable with new people and situations. Once he is comfortable he likes to assume to boss role. He really needs a job to do and an outlet for his natural instincts. Finnighan was first surrendered for fighting with the other male dog in his household. He was adopted and recently returned when he assumed a role and behavior in the household that was inappropriate for the children in the home. Finnighan is also destructive when left alone inside. A properly fenced yard is a must for Finnighan.
