Please consider helping us through these uncertain times by giving towards the Greater Moncton SPCA #Covid19ComfortandCare relief fund.
To all our friends and supporters:
Due to the recent announcement declaring our Province in a state of emergency, the Greater Moncton SPCA has had to close the shelter to all non-essential services until further notice.
At this time of great worry and uncertainty for us all, we hope that you and your loved ones are in good health. Here at the Greater Moncton SPCA we are following government advice and have put strict measures in place to protect staff while also ensuring that the animals in our care continue to receive everything they need.
The Greater Moncton SPCA is considered an essential service, and our dedicated staff will be at the shelter every day as the lost and homeless animals of our community continue finding their way to the shelter despite the pandemic.
While health and wellbeing are our first priorities, we must also consider the financial implications of the virus on our organization. We are anticipating a significant drop in income from operations with individuals not having discretionary funds available to make donations, the suspension of third-party fundraising events, the reduction in adoption fees and the increased costs due to staff requirements and supplies to meet the needs of the animals in our care.
As an organization that depends on your generosity to feed and care for animals, we’re deeply concerned about how this will affect the animals who depend on us.
If you are able, please consider helping us through these uncertain times by giving towards the Greater Moncton SPCA #Covid19ComfortandCare relief fund.
